Just me..

I was invited to go to Yahoo's Sunnyvale July 4th party. Actually, David wanted to go to the party but he has to go to work so I represented him for the party. It was fun because (like everyone knows that Yahoo throws out great party) there was a live band. Food was great too! I received a Tiki mug because Operations staff (David included) has to have one for souvenir I guess. Anyway, I had a great time. I also met few important people there which is nice :)

Movie night

David was hankering to watch a movie today. He wanted to watch Get Smart (great movie). I, on the other hand, didn't want to do anything. I was just so happy to be in bed and sleeping. Though my eyes were hurting and I felt kind of nauseated because of lack of food since I just had like 13 hours worth of sleep and its about time for lunch for me (I'm not too fond of eating breakfast) that's why I don't worry waking up at noon. For lunch, I had ginataang mongo with bulad in it and steamed rice. Oh yummy! Busog kaayo ko!

Anyway, Hubby woke up and asked me if I were still interested to go to watch a movie. Oh yeah. You bet I am still interested! Before going to the cinema, I had to do some errands. Today is payday by the way (for yahoo employee) so I went to the bank and deposited his check and withdrawn some cash. I went to Quiznos also to get sandwiches for both of us to snack on while watching Get Smart. We usually pack our own snack when we go watch a movie in the the theater. Don't get me wrong, we are not cheapskate but you know what packing your own snack is way better and fresher than the ones they have at the food stand and obviously it is cheaper when you pack your own snack!

All in all, Hubby and I had a great time. Get Smart the movie was so hilarious. David and I laughed through out the movie. A must see movie.

We watched Incredible Hulk too but not impressed at all. I recommend that you guys watch Get Smart than The Incredible Hulk. Get Smart is worth your $7.50!

Mga Pasalubong part 2

I mentioned on my previous post about pasalubong that I will go back to Bath and Body Works to buy more stuff from them on Friday. I didn't want to chance it and went back there today! I was just there last Saturday buying lots of stuff but I thought I would take the opportunity of buying pasalubong for family and friends since most of their lotions and shower gels at the store are 75% off. That is really a big savings!

I went today and bought more lotions and shower gels. Some of them I will keep for personal consumption :) I know that BBW will have more sales and discounts in the next few months but by far, this is their greatest sale ever! And I am taking advantage of their big sale :)

I'm Married!

David and I went out two weeks ago with friends. We went to Club Max at the Dollar Tree hotel. As always, it was fun because we were with great friends. Hubby doesn't dance that much because basically he can't dance. On the other hand, I was dancing through the entire time we were at Club Max. Well, not quite the whole time but most of the time. I've noticed that most of those dancing place, men are were looking for single women. I guess, it is the place to be!

My girlfriends and I look very pretty that night :) So for those guys who just came in in the place that didn't see us with our hubby, we were like good prospects for them.

Anyway, there was a time when my girlfriends and I were dancing, there was this Portuguese looking guy dancing on the stage and he was like 5 feet away from me. I was facing him actually so I can clearly see him. He was looking at me and was giving me this kind - handsome look with accompanied batted his eyelashes..ha! I found it kind of freaky! Not that he's doing something wrong but I felt uncomfortable having a guy aside from my husband flirting on me ( Does that mean I still look appealing?). This Portuguese guy's partner went back to their table and he was left dancing on the the dance floor by himself. And I saw him inching closer to me. And I thought I should change position so I would not have an eye contact with him! I was wrong!!!!! When he saw me turning my back on him, he then walked right straight to me, held my waist with his two hands and asked if I would like to dance with him!

Boy oh boy! When he touched me I felt like I was electrocuted! I thought to myself " My husband is the only person allowed to touch my waist!" I found myself stiffened when he asked me to dance with him. And the only phrase that I blurted out was "I'm Married! I'm Married! and I showed him my wedding rings. It was so hilarious! My girlfriends were telling me that I look like I was so nervous and just wanted to get rid of him.

Though David saw the guy approached me and when David saw that I didn't look comfortable having the guy very close next to me, he then came to the dance floor and danced with me. I felt so much relief though. But then again, I should have said to the guy that I was married and No, I cannot dance with you.

I got so nervous when the Portuguese guy asked me to dance with him that I didn't know what to do except I just yelled at him that I am married! lol.

But then again, I didn't really feel sorry for the guy because after like a minute, he then found a girl to dance with him! Good for him.

Lesson learned: Always tag along hubby when dancing. Teach hubby to dance also so I won't be dancing without my man..lol!

Mga Pasalubong...

Bath and Body Works had a great sale last week so there I went and bought a lot of stuff. Those Shower Gels and Lotions were $2.37 each. I'm going back there this coming Friday to buy more stuff from them. Looks like I will have enough pasalubong for everyone! Though I need to buy pasalubong for the men because these (picture above) stuff I bought at BBW looks like for women only. I also bought few lip gloss at Longs and other beauty products. I am not done yet though. I still have a long list to follow....Ubos pera ko nito!

My hot choco was almost gone!

I was too lazy to make dinner last night (not surprised!lol) that I suggested to my Bigbear that we'll just get something to go. Maybe a sandwich or tacos. Bigbear was happy either home cooked meals or fast food. He didn't care anyway because he's not getting his food but me!

I was confused myself as to what to get for dinner because I think I have been to every fast food there is in Morgan Hill :) But I didn't like pizza for dinner nor hamburger. I really didn't have much choice though and while I was driving around I thought of Quiz nos so I went there and got myself and David a foot long Pastrami. It was good!

Anyway, I also thought of getting dessert for David and I for later. Maybe Pralines and Cream at 31 flavors but I thought maybe I should get something lighter. Maybe some fruit. But I don't like it though. I want something sweeter. On the way home, I saw a starbucks store and it just hit me! Get a hot Choco for dessert :) Light and good for you..lol

And I went and got a Venti hot chocolate with whipped cream on top. Oh yum!

When I got home, I had put the hot choco on top of the counter in the office at home. I figured that after we eat our sandwich, I will heat up the hot choco for later. Before I gave Dave's share of the Pastrami sandwich, I washed some dirty dishes and put them in the dishwasher so I can run it while we were eating dinner

Mind you, my husband was so sleek that I did not noticed him went to the office and checked out what I bought for dinner. Then he saw the hot choco and took it with him in the living room and watched TV. While I was so busy washing dishes, my bigbear was half finished drinking the hot choco..arrrghh! You know how I found out that he was drinking the hot choco? He informed me to hurry up washing the dishes so I could have some of that hot delicious coffee I brought home (Okay pud trip ni Dave noh!) I was like coffee?!! What coffee are you talking about?!! That's not coffee!!! That's my hot choco!! And then this is what David said " Oh really? It was so good I thought it was coffee, honey. Come here sit down with me and have some before I finish it.....

...and that my hot choco was almost gone...

puppies and poodles

Hanging Out

Aren't they cute? I just wish I can have all of them and play with them all day long. My two poodles at home are getting older and doesn't have the energy to play with me. My two poodles love to sleep and eat.

David and I went to starbucks this morning for a nice breakfast. We stayed there for an hour or so. We like to hang out there and look at people and make fun of them lol.

When we got home, there was a big surprise waiting for us. Coco and Cinnamon got to the chocolate that David just opened last night. I guess he must have left it on the counter. But we were glad to know that both dogs didn't do anything messy. We were just in time to get home because we found the box of chocolate laying on the carpet. It wasn't open yet.

Bad dogs!lol
